Bio

Name: Crystal

Nicknames: Kalikala, Crazy Lady, Cookie Monster, Cookie Lady, Surfer Girl (I haven’t figured this one out yet), Crys or Chris (Which ever way you want to spell it)

Age: 23

Writing
Preferred Generes: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Modern-Teenage Angst

Preferred Material to Write: Full length novels (Although, I’ve been thinking about writing a few short stories and putting them together to make a novel)

Writing Goals for 2007: To complete A Struggle to Survive, to revise A Struggle to Survive, to work on chapter summaries for various other works in progress

Current Projects: I have many works in progress going on simultaneously, most of them still in the planning stages. But I have a few that I am determined to finished one of the days:
A Struggle to Survive: 1 of 21 (Revised)

Secrets of the Seas: 1 of ??? (First Draft)
Angel of Darkness: 1 of ??? (First Draft)

Teenage Dirtbag: Currently being revised to make coherent chapters

Flailing Around Unseen, Me Against the World, and Seize the Day are all in the early stages of development. We’ll see what happens with these

Writing Habits
Best Music to Write to:
For Fantasy Novels: Soundtracks (such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean); Classical Music; Groups such as Bond and Celtic Woman

For Modern/Teenage Angst: Most punk music works, groups like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Mest, etc.. seem to be more of an influence

Best Time to Write: Usually anytime between 1 and 4 in the morning. It seems to be the only time I’m really able to let my imagination to take a hold of me and be as creative as possible. It’s either that or I’m so tired at that point that my brain doesn’t worry how it sounds, it just want to get things down on the computer.

Best Place to Write: Most of my writing is down at my desk on the desktop. Most of my research, charts, story planning, is done on my laptop, but occasionally I’ll write something coherent on it.

Pimping

Seventh Sanctum

Baby Names

Fantasy World Building Questions

As you can see this is my writing journal. It’s the place where I put anything and everything I write and don’t know what to do with it. If you want to read about my boring life, then you can read about it in my regular journal, ([info]kalikala_loke)
